1. Pay attention to three things: DKIM, SPF, DMARK. those things should all say pass. If any of those say fail or neutral, or in some cases if your DMARK doesn't even show up, that is a red flag. That basically means you are failing one of the three kinds of verifications, more or less.

2. Quality is always more important than quantity. Everybody wants a really big list, but at the end of the day you got to make sure that they want to be there and they're excited.
